Drummers’ Hand Workout #1

Posted 06 Sep 2010 in Drum Pad, Instructional

This little drum workout covers basic note values and rudiments at a workout-style pace. It begins with a few-warm up measures and increases in intensity until it peaks at 32nd note and 16th note triplet groupings. After a brief plateau, the warm-down begins but keeps you working until about the last 4 bars. I recommend running it through leading with the left hand as well as the right hand and at the suggested tempos.

DOWNLOAD SHEET MUSIC HERE

1. 80 bpm (warm-up)
2. 90 bpm (warm-up/workout
3. 100 bpm (pretty good workout)
4. 112 bpm (chop buster)
